You will also acquire the more general skills employers seek in IT professionals including teamwork and leadership to project management and problem-solving. The program provides a foundation of knowledge in areas such as software development and programming, web design, databases, and information systems, as well as the ability to specialize in areas of marketing, data analytics, or advanced computer science.

The course will provide you with an understanding of Windows and its application software, which includes Word 2002 for Windows word processing, spreadsheets and database management systems presentation graphic software, as well as the Internet. In addition it will instruct you about e-commerce security and computer security issues.

Typically, teaching will be through seminars and lectures with many modules including laboratory-based computer exercises. Students are expected to do your own research and studies at home as well as at the university.
