The Online Tools and Photoshop Give You the Power to Take Your Digital Art to the Next Level

Photoshop and online tools allow you to take your digital art to the next level. Learn how to work with layers to create complex designs, and then use the Crop tool and the Slice tool to cut or crop parts of an image. By using tools for drawing and brushing, you can create compelling linework using a wide range of customizable options. You can also paint with the Brush and Pencil tools, with large swaths of color. The Eyedropper allows you to capture and match colors in an image. Measurement tools enable accurate positioning and measurements.

Selecting an area and applying different effects to it is possible with the tools for selection. The Lasso tool, as well as its Polygonal Lasso and Magnetic variants provides you with more control over the selection. You can then use the patch tool repair the resulting selection, or you can use the Content-Aware Move tool to move an object or layer without affecting its appearance or altering other elements of the image around it.

Blur softens the pixels and makes them less distinct, which can be useful for lessening glare or creating a dreamy appearance. Sharpen is the opposite of Blur, it makes the pixels more distinct. It is often used to remove wrinkles and other imperfections. Dodge and Burn lighten or darken pixels, and the Sponge tool absorbs or releases color, so it is useful for corrections in areas that have a contrast that is too high. You can move an object or layer using the Move tool. You can create a keyboard shortcut that will switch between tools and change the setting that decides if Photoshop switches between tools when you hold a key while holding down Shift.
